Project Management Professional, Skillshare, PluralSight, etc. Like I said, I like to learn. When I was in mortgage, I decided to get my MBA. When I relocated to North Carolina I took up learning handlettering online which translated into creating signs, watercolor house portraits, and paper flowers. Essentially, I love learning how to make things that bring a smile to others.
When COVID-19 landed me at home full time, I decided to use my previously used gym time to learn a new skill. After quite a bit of research, I signed up for SheCodes workshops. Since then I've acquired four certificates from the program. From creating a weather application using React to creating this website... evidence that I'm willing to learn and discover.
Who doesn't love to roam? Drive or fly, I always try to have something on my calendar with a goal of traveling somewhere new. From National Parks to local towns I'm up for anything (minus jumping out of a plane or something - I'm terrified of heights). Good food and new friends while taking in an environment...Count me in - just let me grab a bag.
